TITLE: Administrative Coordinator – Adult Services
SCHEDULE: This is a full time hourly position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Schedule may vary according to agency needs.
REPORTS TO: Director of Adult Services
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for assisting the Director with the administration and management of all DD Adult Services.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Director of Adult Services as needed in the operation of the department. Monitors the progress of new departmental initiatives and ongoing projects. Participates in the weekly Adult Services Operations Meeting. Prepares and monitors various confidential departmental reports, as assigned by Department Director, which track various budgetary and quality assurance indicators. Provides follow up on various items as directed by the Department Director. Composes, formats and types routine correspondence, reports and other documents as assigned by the Director. Collects information, compiles into standard or non-standard format, prints, proofs and distributes to appropriate company personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human services related field or management. Three years relevant experience required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to perform a wide variety of duties related to program administration. Must possess basic computer literacy and be experienced with or able to learn the software applications necessary to the performance of the duties of this position. Valid driver’s license, proof of adequate automobile insurance and reliable transportation required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: To perform the essential functions of the job the following applies: Must be physically and mentally capable of performing multiple tasks under stressful situations. Must be instantly motivated in a crisis situation. The job requires standing, stretching, bending, walking, lifting and transporting a minimum of 10 lbs. Must be able to climb stairs. Must be capable of using a visual display terminal with continuous wrist movement on a keyboard. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
