COMBINED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES POSITIONS
BUSINESS OFFICE CLERK - Description: Responsible for assisting the department with a variety of accounting functions. This would include but not be limited to data entry, printing invoices and statements, posting cash receipts, account reconciliation, research, journal entries and filing. Qualifications: High school graduate, GED or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and general accounting software. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to exercise independent judgment and use discretion in the planning and performance of these duties.
COLLECTION SPECIALIST - Responsible for maintaining accounts and maximizing collection of unpaid balances. Works toward reducing the Account Receivable Aging. Researches past-due accounts and performs collection activities to maximize cash flow. Processes client claims and organizes and files claims billed. Responds to telephone and correspondence requests relating to billing errors, coding issues and denials from internal staff, clients or third-party payers. Qualifications: High School graduate, GED or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree preferred. Minimum one-year experience in medical insurance billing. Strong background in reading insurance remittances. Understanding of CPT codes. Experience in insurance collection calls. Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES POSITIONS
DAILY LIVING SKILLS INSTRUCTOR - Assists consumers of Residential Services to develop daily living skills while facilitating and promoting the skills necessary for increased independence. Works directly with consumers with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community, to provide a quality daily living environment in accordance with NH State certification standards. Qualifications: One year residential service experience preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Must be available for evening and weekend work. High School Diploma.
DAY VOCATIONAL DIRECT SERVICES STAFF – Description:
Work directly with developmentally disabled consumers, participate in their
daily work activities, prepare and participate in their ISPs, act a liaison
between the consumers and community members. Must become medication certified
according to HeM 1201s. A clinical/behavioral background preferred.
Qualifications: Experience in the Human Service industry preferred. Ability to
assist consumers in and out of vehicles necessary. Willingness to learn is
essential. We will train the right person. Must be available for evening and
weekend work. High School diploma or equivalent required.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - Description: Work with a dynamic trans-disciplininary
early intervention team providing home-based services for infants, toddlers and
families. Qualifications: BS or MS accepted. Experience working with families
required. Child development, home visitation and teamwork experience helpful.
PHYSICAL THERAPIST – Description: Responsible for providing developmental
evaluation, consultation, individual and group therapy, and service coordination
to families and children in Strafford County. Services are provided in community
settings as well as in families' homes. Qualifications: BS or MS in Physical
Therapy. Must have New Hampshire state license in Physical Therapy or be
licensure eligible. Knowledge and comfort with home/community trans-disciplinary
model of service delivery is needed. Training and experience in infant and
toddler development. Understanding and experience with family support.
Physically able to lift children and move children's equipment up to 50 pounds.
Possess good self-initiation and time management skills and strong written and
verbal communications skills.. Ability to tolerate household pets.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES POSITIONS
CSP THERAPIST - Responsible for intake assessments, appropriate triage, treatment planning and a full regimen of therapeutic modalities, including individual and group psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, IMR, substance abuse assessment, and crisis stabilization to adults who have severe and persistent mental illness. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field required; LICSW or other NH State certification/license preferred. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and work well with a multi-disciplinary team.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER – Description: Exciting opportunity with an Agency committed to a high quality delivery system providing mental health services to adults and children in Strafford County. In this critical role, the COO will monitor and ensure compliance for these programs in accordance with NH State rules and regulations, as well as all applicable Federal requirements. The COO will supervise Program Directors and ensure consumer and family satisfaction. The COO is a key member of the Agency Executive Team and must be able to communicate effectively in a manner that fosters collaboration. The COO is responsible for the development and maintenance of all program budgets and ensures quality services are provided within budget parameters. Qualifications: Master's degree is required. Five years minimum of management experience is required.
CHILDREN’S FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICE WORKERS – Description:
The Youth and Family Services Department is seeking temporary (June through
August) Functional Support Service Workers to be part of our multi-disciplinary
team. Responsibilities include providing direct service and support to children
with mental health issues in community settings, including recreational
programs. Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social
work or related human services field of study. Seeking candidates who can commit
to a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
YOUTH & FAMILY THERAPIST - Fee For Service - Seeking a Master's level
Therapist in our Behavioral Health Division to work with children and their
families in a multidisciplinary environment. Responsible for providing
individual therapy to children ages 3 to 18. Ability to communicate effectively
with others both orally and in writing. Ability to exercise independent judgment
and use discretion in performance of duties while operating within limits of
standard practice. Must possess basic computer literacy and be experienced with
or have ability to learn software applications necessary to perform duties of
this position. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and
Family therapy, Psychology or Counseling. Must have experience providing therapy
to children ages 3 to 18. Licensed therapist preferred.
NEW HAMPSHIRE LICENSED THERAPISTS: We have immediate openings for New
Hampshire Licensed Therapists on a full-time, part-time and/or Fee-For-Service
Basis. These positions are responsible for providing clinical services to adults
including intake assessments, appropriate triage, treatment planning and a full
regimen of therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy and crisis
stabilization. Also, maintaining complete, accurate and timely documentation in
accordance with standards set by the State of New Hampshire, HIPAA and Agency QA
Program. New Hampshire licensure as LICSW and Medicare eligibility Master's
level degree required
FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST - FULL TIME and FEE FOR SERVICE: Description:
Provides direct services to clients with mental illness and/or emotional
disturbance so as to enable the client to work towards recovery and resiliency.
These services include face-to-face, rehabilitative, in-home and community-based
interventions provided to eligible clients based on their individual strengths
and needs and focusing on resiliency and recovery-based goals. FSS may also
include working with family members, caregivers or significant others to assist
clients in reaching these goals. Participate in treatment planning and team
meetings with other internal service providers. Consult with Care Manager to
develop client’s care/service/crisis plans. Qualifications: Bachelor’s
degree in social work, rehabilitation, psychology, education or other related
human services field required. Ability to communicate effectively with others,
both orally and in writing. Able to exercise independent judgment and use
discretion in performance of duties while operating within limits of standard
practice. Must possess basic computer literacy and be experienced with or able
to learn software applications necessary to perform duties of this position.
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER: We are offering this opportunity to a dedicated skilled practitioner wishing to work with our psychiatric team in meeting the behavioral health needs of people in our region. As a member of our team, this position will be responsible for developing and managing a collaborative care model addressing the mental health and physical health of people in partnership with our local Community Health Clinic. Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or related field. Current NH ARNP License, NH RN License, current DEA required. Must maintain ANCC certification as Clinical Nurse Specialist. One year experience as Nurse Practitioner in a mental health care setting preferred.
