Parent to Parent
Parent to Parent is a program with opportunities for parents of children with special needs for both supporting others and for being supported. Primarily, telephone supports are arranged but home visits by the Parent to Parent Coordinator can be done. Connections can be made between parents of children who have similar medical needs, chronic illnesses, or developmental, emotional, physical, or learning disabilities. We provide information about local, statewide and national services and resources. Training and support meetings are held in response to parent need.
