
Respite care at Community Partners is the means used to provide short-term care for a person with a developmental disability who lives at home with his or her family. Respite can be the means by which the family has the time to do everyday, ordinary things all families like and need to do. Things like: going shopping, going out for an evening, reading a book, going away for a vacation, visiting a friend, or just enjoying a few relaxing moments without worry or interruption.

Anyone who lives with his or her family, and is eligible for services at Community Partners through the Family Support or Early Supports and Services program, is eligible for Respite support.
